Looking for a crossover fic

  • Nov. 28th, 2009 at 6:53 PM
I remember reading a story that was a crossover with Keeping Up Appearances. Snape's sisters were Daisy and Rose. Snape brings Remus to meet his family. It was incredibly funny, but I can't remember where I read it. Has anyone read it and possibly know where I can find it?

Here's an interesting one! Rather than mount the magazine vertically as in modern firearms, it's mounted horizontally, with individual chambers for each pinfire cartridge.

to solve this people speak up

  • Nov. 28th, 2009 at 4:03 AM
With the NCIS: LA ep that aired this week.
A casting call was made on this list so some of you I hope made it on there or the ones who made the call can clear this up.
Was any of it shot at the "The Edison" in LA or not?
I hear yes and I hear no and looking about online my self has come up with nothing.
I was told that it was not shot at "The Edison" and was filmed at some random club in LA that they dressed up. I also have been told most of it was shot on a sound stage.

So what is it filmed at The Edison or not, yes or no?

and for you this bores the hell out of.

This is funny , cute and a has costumes.

I have made 8 new cuffs, one of them can be worn as choker too (biomechanical). I have never made so many at once.
Two of them are a part of my upcoming collection, which will be presented at industrial scene subculture house Elektra on FEB 2010.

Malfoys In Slavery Recs

  • Nov. 27th, 2009 at 11:30 PM
After reading this wonderful fic over at [info]hp_darkfest , I realised what a 'kink', I suppose we shall say, I have for the Malfoys in slavery (or Bellatrix).

I'm not really a fan of slash, but I can read Ron/Draco, Harry/Draco and Harry/Lucius within this context. Het or femmeslash would be preferred.

I suppose I'm talking more about the trio (or one of) owning them (and they don't all have to be featured, so Hermione owning Narcissa and Lucius & Draco not making an appearance throughout is okay), but most characters are fine (just not the Marauders, Luna, Tonks, minor characters) =D

Thank you in advance for any recs :)

Steamy teacups

  • Nov. 27th, 2009 at 2:16 PM
I got this amazing set of Victorian cameo teacups from Plasticland! They're not too bad at $34, a bit pricey for me, but I just had to have them. They would be a lovely decorative item.

Hi all!

I posted pictures from my new steam-friendly collection earlier this week. Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm having a sale until Monday 11/30 (including my classic collars). Feel free to check it out, if we run out of something I can make a custom listing for you.

Recipe Project: Easy Brownies

  • Nov. 27th, 2009 at 3:39 PM
Title: The Way of the World

Author: McKay ([info]scribbulus_ink)

Commentary: McKay's "Way of the World" contains some wonderful domestic scenes between Snape and Lupin in the kitchen, where, for example, Lupin teaches Snape how to cook (and survive) in the muggle world.

McKay already posted a great recipe from the story, so I hope no one minds that I'm posting one for brownies inspired by this delightful scene:

Excerpt:

"Laugh at me, will you?" Severus snarled. "You'll pay for that!"

And suddenly, Severus reached into the bowl, scooped up a huge handful of batter, and advanced on Remus.

"No -- Severus, you wouldn't!" Remus stared at him, wide-eyed, as he began backing away.

"Oh, wouldn't I." Severus' voice was a silky purr now, but his smile was pure evil.
Remus couldn't help but think that batter-covered Severus would have been even better. )

RockLove Jewelry - New Steampunk Collection

  • Nov. 27th, 2009 at 12:59 PM
Hi guys! It's Black Friday, and we're all in a food coma...

But I have a surprise - I've finally finished my new Imperial Collection! The pieces are all hand carved and cast sterling silver, with some very cool steampunk Victorian historical references. In fact, all the button pendants are made from AUTHENTIC PRE-1900's COMMUNIST BUTTONS off old used military jackets.

I had to rob a few graves to get the buttons, trust me, you won't see anything like them anywhere else...

And on top of that, RockLove Jewelry is offering 10% off ALL BLACK WEEKEND - you need the secret vip discount password "blackweekend" during checkout. Kill all the gift-birds with one stone and buy yourself something pretty and everyone on your Holiday List.

Thank you and happy Turkey Day!
